MIDGARD’S VÍKINGR ØX
My favorite axe to throw and build. It’s what started all of this for me. It is a Swedish carving axe with a reprofiled beard design and poll. Eye and lugs of axe head were filed to a better contour for handle fitment. Bit has been sharpened and polished. Handle has been reprofiled, thinned and hafted with a walnut wedge. Stain applied is a brown mahogany. Knob of handle has a contour design. Comes with braided leather strap and leather sheath.
